From the translator's introduction

This short text contains crucial poitns that every student of theology should have in their bag of studies, if they wish to advance to books of higher levels. The nature of this text is similar to any other kalaim text, however, its shortness and precisness is what triggered us to translate it. As suggested by the name, 'Isharat', these are allusions, i.e. hints towards what is studied and taught in the science of kalam. We believe it is great for teaching material in islamic schools, especially for those who have only studied beginner level texts in 'aqidah, such as al-Aqidah at-Tahawiyyah.
