Hadrat Mufti Rada al-Haqq Sahib was born in 1950 in a village called Shah Mansur in the Sarhad province of Pakistan. After his inital Islamic education under his father and unlce, he took admission in al-Jami'ah al-Islamiyyah, Akaurah Kattak. He graduated in 1970 and was appointed as a teacher in the same institution. After one year, he left and took admission for post-graduate studies at Jami'ah al-Ulum-a-Islamiyyah, Binnauri Town, Karachi. After completing his post graduate studies, he was appointed as a lecturer and mufti at the same Jami'ah. He continued teaching and issuing fatawa until 1987 when he moved to Dar al-Ulum Zakariyya, South Africa. He is currently the Shaykh al-Hadith and Chief Mufti of Daw al-Ulum Zakariyya. Mufti Sahib received permission to narrate Hadith from several masters in the field. They include:
- Mufti Mahmud Hasan Gangohi
- Allamah Shaykh Abdal-Fattah Abu Ghuddah
- Shaykh Sarfaraz Khan Safdar
- Shaykh Allamah Shu'ayn al-Arnaut
- Shaykh Allamah Muhammad Awwamah
Mufti Sahib has written several works in the Arabic and Urdu languages. Fatawa Dar al-Ulum Zakariyya in eight volumes is his magnum opus and a result of over forty-five years in the field of issuing fatawa.
