Qisas an-Nabiyeen is a compilation of short and entertaining stories about some of the Messengers. It was written by Shaykh Abul Hasan Ali an-Nadwi for students starting to learn the Arabic language. This publication has the original text of the first four parts, and includes over 2500 words of Arabic vocabulary with English and Urdu meanings.
About The Author Sheikh Syed Abul Hasan Ali Hasani Nadwi: one of the most prolific writers and original thinkers of our time, author of well over fifty books in various languages, and a scholar of rare distinction, passed into the mercy of Allah in December 1999. The Maulana was a founder member of the Muslim World League (Rabita), a member of the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC), a member of the World Supreme Council of Mosques, and a member of the Fiqh Council of Rabita. He was also a member of Advisory Council of the Islamic University of Madinah al-Munawwarah, a member of its Supreme Council, and a member of the Academy of Arts and Letters of Damascus, Syria. He was also a founder member of the League of the Islamic Literature in India. Perhaps better known as rector of Nadwatul Ulama (India), and president of the Academy of Islamic Research and Publications India. A man with true Islamic values of patience and tolerance, moderation and balance, generosity and compassion. Neither a politician, nor a publicist, essentially a scholar, a man of religion, a spiritual person, who combined in himself the highest values of the Shariat and the Tariqat and who commanded respect for his transparent sincerity, for his simple living and for his selfless devotion to the common cause of the Community and the Nation, a man who lived for Allah alone and who wanted nothing but the good of all is no more.
